Sure, from today's perspective, many of the 8-bit games may seem old-fashioned, but back then it was the gameplay that counted ;)
If you are one of those who still have some of the original game modules lying around in the attic, but your matching console has either broken down or was accidentally sold for a ridiculous price at a flea market, you can use the Hyperkin RetroN 1 HD to relive times gone by!
The small console allows you to run original modules (NTSC and PAL) - in HD! The console upscales the picture to 720p so that Mario and co. can romp across the screen in unprecedented sharpness. You can connect the Hyperkin RetroN 1 HD to your screen either via AV cable or HDMI (both cables are included) and switch between 4:3 and 16:9 using a switch. The power supply has been adapted to modern times and is via a micro USB connection, a cable and a power supply unit are also included.
The whole package is rounded off - how could it be otherwise - by a controller. It has a classic NES design and the three-meter cable allows you to play from the comfort of your couch! Now we just have to find out at some point whether blowing into the module really helped...
