Description Matias Ergo Pro Keyboard
The Matias Ergo Pro is probably the most adaptable keyboard and has a high-quality finish and features. In other words, it is the perfect keyboard for frequent typists who do not suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome or general finger fatigue.
The special thing about the Matias Ergo Pro is that it is in two parts. This allows you to arrange the two halves in exactly the way that suits the natural posture of your arms and hands. And you can even place a plate of snacks between the keys ;) The two halves of the keyboard can be placed up to 40 cm apart, which is roughly a conventional mechanical keyboard including a numpad that would fit between the two parts. Thanks to the comfortable weight of the two halves of around 460 g and 540 g respectively and the rubber feet, the keyboard stays where you want it. The two halves are connected with a cable that contains a small cable reel. Even if you push the halves together completely, the connecting cable is tucked away neatly and everything looks tidy.
Both parts are equipped with gel pads for the palms of your hands. This protects your wrist and nerves and your hands simply don't get tired as quickly when typing. If you prefer to type without them, you can also remove the pads. With the fold-out feet, the keyboard can be tilted forwards, backwards or outwards by 4.5° or jacked up a little (see photos). The steel plate makes the keyboard particularly robust.
The Matias Ergo Pro is equipped with Matias Quiet Click ALPS Mechanical Switches which offer a tactile switching point but are very quiet. So you won't annoy your coworkers with loud typing noises.
In addition, there are these special features:
Overall, the Matias Ergo Pro is barely larger than a laptop keyboard despite the pleasantly large keys. This means that your fingers have shorter travel distances. All of this results in the perfect keyboard for comfortable, gentle typing. Ideal for anyone who types a lot and quickly. Available in DE layout.
