Who doesn't remember dialogues like this? It might seem like stories from the Stone Age, but it wasn't that long ago...
If you remembered to pack all the disks, you just had to hope they weren't damaged by pressure, temperature, or other adversities and that the data wouldn't be lost forever. But even then, you could still enjoy the protective cover. There are few feelings that offer the same satisfaction as playing around with floppy disks. Until they bend...
USB sticks and flash cards were somewhat more elegant. And the smaller the storage medium, the more capacity it had. The storage space was probably gained at the cost of soul, because a floppy disk still has character; you can label it and put it in protective sleeves. You can't say that about a Micro SD. And you can't even touch the cloud. But cloud computing offers virtually endless storage space. And you can't lose it, unless you forget your password...or are famous...
That's why our shirt not only shows the evolution of storage media, but it's also a reminder of the good old colorful floppy disks and sticks. :)
