Description 3Doodler 3.0 Create Star Trek Edition
The 3Doodler 3.0 Create is the latest evolutionary stage of the popular 3Doodler. With this 3D printer pen, you can draw anything you want in three dimensions. Provided you have the necessary creativity and a steady hand ;)
Compared to the previous model, the 3Doodler 3.0 offers the following improvements, among others:
- Improved and intuitive operation. Click once to start. Click again to stop. Double-click to reverse.
- Completely new internal structure. A new propulsion system ensures less friction, improves stability and adjusts the supply of plastic to the temperature.
- A transparent and easily removable maintenance window allows you to check the plastic feed.
- The more robust tip of the pen is easier to remove and replace with other attachments to enable new types of printing.
- The new Ambient Light Bar lets you check the status of the pen more easily with its blue and green glow. And it just looks damn stylish ;)
This makes the 3Doodler 3.0 more powerful than ever and allows you to give free rein to your creativity. On your marks, get set, doodle!
Similar to its predecessors, the 3Doodler 3.0 prints heated plastic, which is available in three variants, each with its own advantages:
ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene copolymer) is particularly suitable for painting freely in the air, the material is soft and flexible. ABS is also good for doodling on a paper surface. ABS is not transparent.
PLA (polylactide) is harder and therefore better suited for long free lines without supports, as well as for doodling on smooth surfaces such as metal or glass. PLA is slightly transparent.
Flexy (thermoplastic polyurethane) is less brittle and can be bent like rubber, but always returns to its original shape.
Due to the different properties of the plastics, the doodler must be preheated to different degrees. You can easily read off the correct temperature directly from the pen, thanks to the new Ambient Light Bar from any angle.
The 3Doodler 3.0 Create Star Trek Special includes a Star Trek Project Kit and comes with 100 plastic strands and templates with which you can recreate objects from the Star Trek universe. In addition to the 3Doodler 3.0 Create and the plastic rods, you will of course also receive a number of useful accessories: a power supply unit with a cable length of around 2 m, a small screwdriver for fine adjustment of the temperature, a special wrench for changing tips, a multilingual manual with a quick-start guide and a cleaning tool round off the overall package. This means you are ideally equipped for all situations in which a 3D printer pen is an advantage. And we can say from experience: it almost always is ;)
