Description 3Doodler Plastic Refill Packs
To make sure things stay nice and colorful with the 3Doodler, here is a selection of plastic rods in 30 different colors. Each refill pack contains 25 plastic rods.
Besides the colors, you can also choose between two different materials: ABS and PLA.
ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene Copolymer) is particularly suitable for drawing freely in the air; the material is soft and flexible. ABS also works well for doodling on a paper surface. ABS is not transparent.
PLA (Polylactide) is harder and therefore better suited for long free strokes without supports, as well as for doodling on smooth surfaces like metal or glass. PLA is slightly transparent.
Please note when filling your 3Doodler that the plastics have different melting points. ABS requires a temperature of 230-240°C, PLA 190-200°C. You can set the correct temperature with the dial on the side, which also turns on the 3Doodler.
