Description Ducky Keyboard

Sure, a simple keyboard doesn't cost the earth these days and the price of mechanical keyboards seems high at first glance. But once you've experienced the advantages of mechanical keyboards for yourself, you'll know that the investment more than pays for itself.

In contrast to simple rubber dome keyboards, mechanical keyboards can withstand many more keystrokes before their service life comes to an end (a whole 50 million instead of just 5 million). Not only the quality and workmanship speak for themselves, but also the unique typing feel that the keyboards convey thanks to mechanical contacts (instead of simple rubber nubs). Once you've tried them, you'll never want to go back to simple keyboards again ;)

Among the most popular mechanical keyboards are those from the manufacturer Ducky. They are of high quality, have a great layout and are available in different versions so that they harmonize perfectly with you: With LEDs, with different switches, as a tenkeyless version, with multimedia keys and so on...

Of course, all our Ducky keyboards have the N-key rollover-feature, in which the keyboard electronics register each key separately, regardless of how many keys are pressed simultaneously.

To make your decision a little easier, you will find an overview of the different switches at the end of this article.

We can currently offer you this model; it has a German keyboard layout:

Zero DK2108 S
This is the entry-level version with the aim of returning to the roots of mechanical keyboards. Nevertheless, it offers important advantages, such as N-key rollover via USB (switchable to 6-key rollover) and a perfect typing feel. The illuminated version offers different modes (backlighting, breathing mode and 8 different brightness levels including off).

This version is available in the variant:

  • Red switch with blue LEDs

Different switches and their features:

Cherry MX Red Switches: Linear (non tactile) switching points, extremely quiet - requires quite a lot of practice due to the very light pressure point and is extremely popular with Asian gamers in particular.
